Okay, I was told it’s been awhile since i posted, but damn, it’s been 5 days…

Well, exciting news #1 for the week was the discovery of a new bird species in my pond. I saw 5 little birds swimming around with black bodies and white beaks. After some googling, I found they were American Coots. Amusing little birds. They seemed a little ditsy and their walk was great! I think they somehow spawned from a raven or something that found a little dodo bird DNA and made some magic happen. There’s really no other explanation for their existence…coots…just creepy amusing little creatures…(I think it goes without saying that they could amuse me for hours…)

The top pic in my graphic is one I took a couple weeks ago. I was so excited that I caught the action but nevertheless, I wasn’t as close as I needed to be. It was still exciting for me. I need a 300mm lens…minimum to have lots of fun. I took a pic of Howard with his goose friend today. Hopefully, it turns out well. I’m using my High-def film…curious to see if i can see a difference.

In other news, I’ve created my first PDA application in VB.NET and I’m…what’s the expression…tickled pink? haha yeah I was giggling like a little kid when i hit debug -> deploy on pocket pc device and my program showed up. Fun times!! I’ll even admit to doing my own little programming victory dance. I won’t share details :) You can thank me later.

Speaking of pink, I smashed my pinky finger between two bowling balls today in class. And yes, it was my bowling hand!! haha yeah it’s my first sports injury. How awesome. It still aches though so typing this post is like rehab for it. My league team today had no opponent, and so of course we had an incredible day. I had 3 strikes in a row! yeah…smokin’. Too bad we suck ass with competition.

Wow I really have nothing too clever to say…I’m super busy and coding up a storm but man do I love it :) Oh! I have two more potential freelance clients…people just can’t get enough of my mad skills haha. Okay sis is here…time for some lasagna lovin’...hmm that’s really not a pretty phrase, is it? Eh well, it suits me.
