Who Opened my Garage Door?

I had to take the bus to campus today, which wasn’t a complete pain. However, it was for a meeting I found out about a couple hours prior. I put this lovely little away message while I was gone and when I wrote it, I thought, “I think this is my best away message ever.” hehe and when I got home, I had an IM from my sis saying “I think this is your best away message ever.” haha, so it was confirmed. Therefore, I’m posting it here so it lives on forever.
walk to the bus stop, 10 min
wait in cold for bus, 10 min
ride on the bus, 10 min
walk to knoy, 10 min

Yes, I know it’s overused, but I was proud of it. However, there was exactly one other person on the bus, so I had my choice of any seat. Naturally, the seat I picked suddenly felt wet as soon as I sat down. I scooted over a seat, hoping it was just that the seat was cold. I wasn’t sure if it was wet or it was just my rear freezing cold. I got to KNOY and went to the bathroom to look. I totally sat in something. I’m really hoping it was water, but it was just fantastic walking around with a wet rear. It was amusing that the meeting was shorter than the time it took for me to get there. There was really no point in me being there either. It seems my boss just gets bored when he has to do the conference call alone. Thanks.
I walked around to the mailbox when I got home and noticed my garage door was completely open. I left from that side of the house for my walk to the bus, so I know it was down at about 1:15 pm, but sometime between now (3pm) & then, it somehow opened. I heard Snippy barking which was reassuring, but I was ready for my computer to be gone when I walked in. Nothing appeared to be touched and there was no sign that the electricity had gone out, because my computer was still on with programs running. My extra garage door opener was on my desk, so it wasn’t Snippy that opened it either. It kinda freaked me out…
Anyway, happy first day of December. To you seniors, enjoy your last Christmas break. Unless you plan to teach or be unemployed, you’ll likely never have one again, and it sucks.
