I finally finished the edit. I really wish I’d taken time to setup my camera so the footage wouldn’t look so terrible. On the bright side, it makes my photos look exceptional by comparison. I didn’t get footage/photos of sooo many things, but it’s cold & rainy and I’m just out of time. It’s not too terrible. I think Grandma will enjoy it (especially since she can watch it uncompressed :)
Oh, random story. I was walking to Safeway after work and I ended up in-step with this group of guys who appeared slightly inebriated and from out of town (since they were arguing which way the train was). So I’m wearing jeans and my old winter coat (b/c someone stole my nice one…), all bundled up and one of them turns to me and says “Hey, how are you?” “Alright,” I say. He continues, “You have a really nice body.” I turned, looked him in the eye and said “thank you” as genuinely as possible and just continued walking in silence until I could duck down an alley. So yeah, I didn’t leave fast enough to give them a chance to laugh, so I think I made it as awkward for them as they did for me. Either way, why is it the day I’m wearing a poofy coat & scarf that someone appears to pay me a compliment. Apparently I’m really attractive in the dark with half my body heavily concealed. Oh, the strange things that happen to me.
