I had my first lunch at Hooters with my sister, her boyfriend, and the brother. The food really was good. I split the waitresses in to two categories…ones that get excited about their uniform and the ones that cry every morning. Unfortunately, for my little brother, we had one that cries. Until I realized she was sort of dumb, I was going to try to offer her a job because I figured she was working here as a last resort. I’m curious about their job qualifications…measurements? cup size? can you use a calculator? Interesting experience. I personally most enjoyed the photo of the Girl Scouts father & daughter dance on the wall.

Well, my people helped me get my TV. Best Buy was being a bitch, so I said, “fuck you” and went to HH Gregg. Oh, there was one cool guy at Best Buy, but his shift was ending. He did a tally for me from the other salesman on the Sony vs. Toshiba on tube quality. I came in with Toshiba as my pick, and they said I was smart. I told Mr. HH Gregg salesman that Best Buy had an online deal and asked him to match it, and he said “no problem”. Ha, so I got it for $70 less than at Best Buy. I rock. It’s a 32” Toshiba with a flatter tube but not flat. It has the digital comb filters, awesome speakers, and all that jazz. It’s all hooked up with my super cool DVD player. Oh and the kid that loaded the TV was super scrawny but kind of cute. When he just lifted that 111 lb TV and put it in the car, my sister & I exchanged a surprised look. She added, “stronger than he looks.”

As I was driving home, I got behind a truck that had a bumper sticker saying “offmyass.com”. I thought, “uh-oh, Johnny’s dream is dead.” He had big plans for a tailgating reporting site. I’ll admit the current one sucks, but it exists here.

I rented some movies and the lady told me it was due back tomorrow at midnight. I sort of laughed, and asked if there were a way to keep it longer. She said they got rid of late fees so as long as I had it back within a week, I had no worries. Awesome. I got Garden State and The Color of Money (for my freebie), which is some follow-up/remake of The Hustler which I rented last month. Oh yeah, and I got cool frames for my Paul Newman and Cary Grant photos. I was considering hanging them in my bedroom, but I’m wondering if that will let me see them enough.

Ooh and I met my boss and his wife on the road. I waved really big but Ron just gave me this confused look. It was great. hehe and this song makes me think of our client, Andy. I meant to ask him if he made this song his anthem. I can only hope.
