Well, I thought I’d post a few pics of my Xmas decorations. I left the tree pics kinda huge. I figure my 2 mini trees equal one normal one heh. One is decorated with all bird/nature ornaments and the other is my “eccentric” tree: unicorns, Coca-Cola, tractors, music, pigs. I keep the bird tree up all year with just the bird figurine ornaments.

I was thinking. My mom takes a pic of our tree every year. It’s her pride & joy. People always compliment her tree because it’s so “pretty,” but sometimes, I really hate it. It’s all lace ornaments and Victorian stuff. (She’s a Victorian fanatic.) A couple years ago, I helped my friend John & his mom decorate their tree, and it was such a different experience. Over half of the ornaments were handmade, mostly by John when he was little. My mom’s is so “artificial” and thus, I love my eccentric tree. They may not be handmade ornaments, but the ornaments represent phases of interests in my life. My favorite part of Xmas (I think for my sis, too) is getting out our ornaments. Usually for every ornament I have, Jenna has one that she got at the same time. My glass unicorns are by far my favorite.

Ah yes, and then there’s the “angel”. My mom tried sending me this huge atrocious angel, but I think my pig with wings works quite well. Mom gets a new angel all the time. (She’s also an angel fanatic.) I really wish we had a star or angel with some family history that could be passed down. Our family would, of course, be the generation that would break it, though. I’m certain of that, but nevertheless. So here are my Xmas trees.

Do you have a favorite Xmas ornament? What’s on your Xmas wish list??
