The Way Things Are

First off, it really bums me out that no one leaves comments. Curse you lurkers and that fickle bitch, Mother Nature bringing Spring days followed by snow.
Well, I walked out on my work meeting again today. Weekly meetings are not the place for brainstorming. When the bullshit hits a certain level, I close my notebook, pack my stuff, and put my purse on my lap. Amazingly, boss man then starts running the meeting correctly and starts attempting to wrap it up, at which point I leave. My work there is done.
So, the summer job I was looking at fell through or it seems to have. After posting a request for a web developer, they’re now unsure if they even want a new site. I’ve got enough freelance money owed to me to pay the bills for 5 months, though. I’m officially done with NCN at the end of April, so I guess I’m OK financially until end of the year, but I’d really like to get another revenue source started up by end of May, preferably something completely unrelated to web development. I’m still racking my brain for some genius business venture and combing the classifieds.
I came across an ad for Scottish country dancing lessons, but I think Scottish dancing is something I need to work toward. I would completely die, so maybe next winter after I get in shape this summer.
Well, I’m going to go to my first Nails concert in May. I’ve got a posse lined up. Hopefully going to buy tickets tomorrow.
