So I’m cheating and backdating this, but it seems worth noting that I did sell my house…well, I have accepted an offer. Actual deed transfer is scheduled for Feb. 28, so I’m frantically searching for a new place to live. Interestingly, against my realtor’s better judgment, I counter-offered and the buyer signed it within a few hours, so I’m taking a little bit less of a hit on the house…*sigh*

Feb. 4 is always eventful. It was one grandpa’s bday, the day we buried the other grandpa and my great-grandma. Naturally, it seems karma does owe quite a bit for this date.
