I started my day bright & early at 7am with a little wake up call from Rush & Tom Sawyer. I can’t recall the last post-college day I’ve seen 7am without a snooze button. I was ready to head out by 7:50, and I even ate breakfast. I rock. The morning commute was not bad at all.

I arrived to work early actually and spent the next 2.5 hours trying to get my computer to make friends with everyone else’s. *sigh* a wired connection finally filled its needs. I had a seemingly simple task for the day, so of course I struggled with it. One lousy pop-up menu (that was so unnecessary btw), but I sort of got it. Unfortunately, I got an “internified” template to work with so I spent the latter part of the day performing “includification” and style externalization. It’s pretty now.

The atmosphere was really great. I suppose it helps that I was pretty familiar with two of my co-workers. Everyone’s really nice…no one especially annoying, just one girl that has a knack for creating awkward silences. She came over to tell me that my iTunes share rocked, though, so it’s all good. The day really flew, so I’d say it was a success.

Visited Justin’s new apt in c-town after work. Carmel is so pretty. That’s all I can say. Everything is just so damn neat, even the medians. There was a random really cool barn somewhere in the middle. I’m such an observer, got that from my dad.

Went home through Lebanon, which I think was my first experience. I saw some really interesting things along 32, like the best barn/house ever and a huge-ass cathedral. The small towns right outside Carmel surprised me. They looked just like towns near my hometown, down to the diner building. Weird.

I couldn’t get comfortable driving home, so I leaned forward on the steering wheel and looked at the stars. Don’t worry traffic was light and I was cruise-controllin’ it up. Yes, the story gets better. I saw a light go out on a billboard. haha, I just happened to be staring at it and then it went pitch black. Kinda freaked me out, but it got me to wondering who reports such things. I mean do they hire someone to drive around or maybe there’s some sort of alarm on them. Who knows.

Well snippy was thrilled to see me! Nearly 14 hours apart…hehe she was hugging my leg with her front paws. It was darling.

Well, I’m beat. That drive puts me in sleep mode. Looking forward to next week at Mediasauce, though. I think things may just work out there.
