The Final Stretch

I thought I would be in San Francisco by now, but there are still some things being sorted out on their end, so I’m back to waiting. I’ve signed papers though, so I’m pretty official. I tried to take care of all my final to-do items in Indy on Monday, thinking I’d be flying out by late this week. I finalized my moving list, grabbed a few things out of my storage unit, and got an external drive enclosure at Fry’s. Since I was in town, I got in touch with DCain at the Sauce for lunch. We ate at Heidi’s Brooklyn Deli and Kim & Katie T. came along as well. It was nice seeing them, but definitely felt a little “off”.
I also stopped by Tyler’s house to get my CD. I think the packaging looks great. I listened on the way home from Indy later that night and the songs are fantastic (of course). Buy Here or on iTunes.

I spent most the evening hanging out with Adam before heading back for a late night drive. Adam may join me on my drive (whenever it happens…I was planning May 9 but I need a place to live and park my car first). He & Gary may also be taking in Lily. I’m struggling finding a decent apartment that takes pets, so it looks like I may have to leave her behind. The time constraints I seem to be being put under are making it necessary to cutdown on “musts” for apartments. Kind of frustrating, since I’m just sitting here and could be out there shopping. Oh well. I have faith it will be worth it.
I hung out with John & Zach again last Saturday. We watched The Darjeeling Limited & Juno. I didn’t get home til almost 5am, but it was a fun evening. I also went to Indy with Zach yesterday to look at cars and get a quote for his truck at carmax. It was kinda of a short trip. He had to be back to go to prom (as a faculty chaperone :). The pic is of my little brother. We sent him off to his first prom last night. I haven’t seen him yet this morning but word on the street is that he had an awesome time. He was not excited about the picture-taking, especially since that was the first time he had even tried on the suit. It was a little big as you can tell.
I think that’s it. Really nothing exciting to talk about…just sitting & waiting and wanting to buy my MB Pro but too uncertain about my finances to spend the money right now. *sigh* I miss having a laptop so much.
