That’s right, Bitch

So, that’s my new favorite thing to say. Well, really any variation like “damn straight, bitch” works, too. Really, I just like to say bitch.
It was gorgeous today, though a tad brisk, so I took Snipmeister on another 40 minute walk. I brought Hail to the Thief along for my soundtrack. I saw this cute guy drive by. Well, I think he was cute. The sun was in my eyes so I was all squinty. Haha but yeah, so as I was wondering his age, a school bus drives by, and I’m like shit, he’s probably getting home from HS. I think he lives down the street. Hmm Desperate Housewives is coming to mind.
Loved my walk, though. I needed a good dose of vitamin D. It never fails that within days of the arrival of Spring-like weather, I wake up to snow, though, so I’m just waiting for it. Mother Nature can be a cruel bitch like that.
My parents were in town last night, so they took me to dinner. First thing my dad said was, “What the hell happened to your hair?” They’re friends with the lady that does my hair and she always threatens my dad with things she’s going to do to my hair. It’s great. I have this really backward relationship with my dad. For instance, his hair comment translates to: “your hair is weird but it looks nice.” Inverted compliments are really quite an art. I inherited the skill, but I believe I’ve written of this before.
I randomly decided to build a new portfolio site Wednesday. It’s coming along, but c# & xml are not my forte. I tried a retro design, but it was tactfully shot down by a friend heh.
Oh, and I watched Mean Girls the other night, and it was surprisingly enjoyable. I laughed a lot.
Today, I went through every single job posting (~300) within 20 miles of here, and I found a job I might apply for, as soon as I get my new site up. I was really hoping to find something randomly different for a career jump, though. I often worry that my faith in things working out is going to get me in trouble.
