Well, I didn’t get much work done, but I did cook myself a lovely dinner: sausage-noodle bake casserole, corn (the best freezer corn in the world from home), and a biscuit. I actually enjoy cooking for myself. I don’t even mind washing dishes. (Random thought: Where did “doing dishes” come from?? I wonder.) But you’ll note, the picture is from my late night baking adventure. I made pecan biscuit spirals. I won champion with them back in the day in 4-H. They are so good. I had to make some creative kitchen utensil substitutions but I think they turned out nicely. Too bad the recipe only made 13 :(
Baking is what I really like to do. I think it’d be cool to be a baker in a posh NY bakery. Yes, I had to sneak Ralph in the picture. Doesn’t he look awesome?? Yes.
If you couldn’t tell, I don’t have much to talk about. Today, I got my free movie ticket for renewing my lease. Woo. Oh, and a new neighbor moved in today. Another person to walk up the stairs right behind my bed. Yay!
My adventures on match.com and americansingles.com are getting a little old. I’m so sick of dirty old men winking and sending me messages. I’d like to mail them exploding porn. Oh well. On the other hand, the guys I speak to who are actually my age tend to become a bit obsessive. I still haven’t figured that one out. However, I have managed to not become tired of one guy I’ve met. He’s actually really awesome and local and not a stalker. Always a plus. Who would have thought? It’ll be cool once (err if. I was trying to be optimistic) we start hanging out.
