I just have to share this story, because I find it really odd. I’m working with a guy at work on a script. Without giving away too many details, we decided to try to tackle “serendipity” with a man and woman. I jokingly suggested that rather than having me write both sets of events, we should each take one. And so, we did. Obviously, I wrote for the girl, and he took the guy.

Anyway, I sent him my 2 concepts last night, and after reading it, he mentioned that our thoughts were going to sync very well. I was like cool, but he mentioned how well, and it was very odd. Well, he got his typed up, and sent it to me this morning, so I just read his. I’m having a minor “oooh weird” session. Check this:

  • my girl was going for a run. his guy sees a girl running.
  • his guy takes his dog for a walk. my girl nearly trips over dog being walked by the guy.
  • his guy is out of food and has to run to the grocery. my girl needs some ingredient and has to run to the grocery.
  • it starts raining on the man after he leaves the grocery. it starts raining on my girl when she leaves the grocery.

Now tell me that’s not a little weird. I’m so excited about this project. I think it could be one of our best. We’re really pushing our limits. It’s such a rush.

Oh, I got the older Walkmen album, Everyone Who Pretended to Like Me is Gone, yesterday, and I totally dig it.

Also, I was told every post should have a photo, related or not, so here’s my first completely unrelated photo.

And a guy I met on myspace has started a podcast, check it out here. It should be good stuff.
