It seems seeing Margot has officially become an annual event for Dec. 30. Tonight they played at The Irving Theater with Mike Bloom and Cameron McGill’s String Quartet. Openers were both really good, but they enhanced my super sleepiness. Rachel and I struggled to stay awake til Margot went on.
It was a fantastic show and they played a few new songs, which has me excited about the upcoming new album. I finally got myself a t-shirt and it’s awesome.
PS The Irving has character for sure but it’s freezing and dark with cement floors. Much like a cave. Curious to see what they do with it.
