I went home this weekend, and Saturday was just a great day. It was great, except for the part in the early afternoon when Snippy somehow escaped out my car window but also managed to escape certain death at the same time. Anyway, I went to a Neal McCoy concert. I had a VIP pass, so I got my picture taken with him and all. My mom was actually the official photographer for the show. The guy was tall and had an unexpected southern accent.

Amanda Hill opened. She was a decent singer but her stage presence was horrible. The Trent Thompson band also played. They were local from the Lafayette - Crawfordsville area. They rocked!! I’m definitely going to check out more of their shows. They were quite entertaining.

Neal McCoy was a great entertainer. There was a comedy segment and at one point he broke into an old Run DMC rap, which floored me. He was great at it! He also sang “Fly me to the Moon” which made my night. It was the one song that I knew all the words to.
