All last week (Wed-Sun) I performed at Crackers Broad Ripple with Ryan Dalton & Shane Mauss. We had cooler photos but I apparently decided to become a blinker Sunday night, which was the icing on the cake for my week.
I’ll be honest, the shows weren’t fantastic, but these guys were hilarious and great to work with. The late saturday show was definitely the highlight. If only we could have ended on that note.
So I just awoke from sleeping for 12 hours. I’m still exhausted. The long work days plus late comedy nights plus smoke really did me in. I’m doing everything in my power not to get sick.
I don’t feel like going in to work so I’m writing this to postpone that little adventure.
It was a fun week. I checked out Tyler’s show Wednesday night after mine. His was pretty awesome. He got some more shows booked from it. I ventured back to the Red Room friday night with Katie, Andy, Tyler, & Tyler’s friends, Jordan & Collin. The last 3 were champs who came to my show earlier in the night. I had two drunk girls befriend me, one on the dance floor and the other in line for the bathroom. The latter apparently loved my haircut.
It was a long awkward night with details that I’ve been sworn not to disclose, not even to the empty abyss that is my group of readers.
What I can say is that my comedy future is up for debate. I haven’t been devoting the time to it that I should have and it’s finally catching up with me. I’m trying to get my ass in gear and start writing some scripts. I do enjoy stage time but I think a writer’s room might be a good fit for me. Who fricken knows though…I’m a walking ball of indecisive.
