Random Letter

I keep forgetting to check my mail. I’m used to walking by it when I get home, but now I pull in the garage and completely bypass the box. Anyway, I just checked, and I got this handwritten note from my HS speech teacher. My mom talks to her a lot, but I was never close with her. I never really liked her honestly, but you know, random notes like this really make me smile. It was a very nice letter. I always did love her stories. She was the best storyteller. Well, this has me reminiscing now, but I’ll keep that to myself. But this makes me happy. It’s funny how something so simple can make my day a little better.
ha and even the song I’m listening to has past significance. I first heard it in elementary school, because we sang it in music class. The music teacher (who later got fired for her crazy temper…eccentric lady) had all the lyrics neatly printed on poster board on straight pencil lines. I loved singing this song.
