Grr, It’s People Like This
http://www.thiscellardoor.com/blog/entry/people_like_this/

Last night I had another lovely dose of severe insomnia. I finally decided to turn on the TV at 3:30 am. I was watching some movie about Serena, Queen of the Amazons when my most hated commercial came on. I decided I would write a post about this varmint, Don, whose business has these commercials. Of course, this didn’t help me sleep because then I started writing the post in my head.
Anyway, pictured on the right is Don of Don’s Guns in Indianapolis. Now I agree Bob Rohrman or Don Hinds (squeaky voice man) may have some of the more annoying commercials on TV, but this guy, Don, has annoyed me to the point where I think his commercials should be illegal. This man is a complete slimeball. Seriously, just look at him. In his most recent commercial, he says something like this:
“You may not have a gun. You may not be able to legally own a gun, but we have more than guns.” *flash to lady displaying retractable 3-prong ninja sword and other random weapons* “All our items are dirt cheap, because I don’t want to make money, I just love to sell guns.” *nasty wink and handgun pointing action*
ARGH!! Yes, Don, that’s a great idea. Let’s try to sell these *awesome* weapons to people who can’t even legally own guns. Huh, I wonder…maybe there’s a reason they can’t own guns. hmm *thinks*. I mean, dear lord, what the hell!?! And of course, his commercials only air 10pm-5am, so he can really hit that target audience of winners. And thus, if I were one of the Boondock Saints, this would be the first guy I took out. Actually, I think I’d rather just scare the hell out of him. I hope someone mugs him with one of his own weapons. Ha! yeah, yeah…I have no heart. But really, the guy’s not even in this to make money, so he has no excuse for doing this :)
And the “grr!!”, well that’s what I do every time the commercial airs. Actually, it’s “grr” with a few choice words tacked on the end. Ugh, just a lovely world we live in with oh so lovely people.
