So today marks the 1 year anniversary of my interview at MediaSauce. My official start date wasn’t for 6 days later, but really, this first impression day is what counts. I just read my post about my interview day, and I’m pretty damn impressed with my foresight.

That beautiful guy I thought I saw definitely left the same impression when I got a good look at him, with a personality to match. And I truly did get the chance to grow in a new direction, even in the exact items I mentioned, writing & photography. Pretty amazing.

So in 6 days, I can officially say I’ve stayed with a company for a year. That’s a first. And the first 2 people I laid eyes on (aside from the secretary, but she’s the first everyone sees so it doesn’t count heh) when I stepped foot in MediaSauce have become 2 of the people I’m closest to.

It just doesn’t feel real to have been working with these people for so long. It’s a strange mix of feeling like I’m the new guy but I’ve been working there my whole life.

So I’m feeling sentimental but that’s a good thing :) Snoop dog moved back in last weekend, and we’re getting along pretty well. All in all, life’s not too bad. No regrets.

Now if only I could land myself a slightly dorky pretty boy…near me, I could almost call it perfect. But I think I could treat myself to the new Ice Age movie and make up for that.
