Well, first off, I forgot to post my reactions to the concert I attended this Saturday, featuring the Oak Ridge Boys. Now, for those who are familiar, this is a group of 4 men, sort of barbershop quartet style. Now when they said they started back during WWII, the math didn’t work in my head, because they were all moving around the stage pretty well if you know what i mean. Well, come to find out, the band has rotated through 30 different members over the years. Odd, I know.

Nevertheless, they rocked!! I was sincerely amazed at the talent. Most impressive was the baritone. He was singing lower than the bass guitar part, and he was such a little man. How queer. (Yes, I just wanted to say that phrase.) On the last song, I decided to stand through the entire performance. I got my friend and sister to join me, thinking that I’d get the whole audience up. Well, things didn’t go as planned. Only 2 other people stood up. Later, I realized the entire audience was 3x older than me and was incapable of standing that long. Oops.

That was fun. I may have also forgotten my 2.5-hour solo 4-wheeling adventure the weekend before. I explored my whole township, and I have the bruises to prove it. How do you get bruises on your arms while 4-wheeling? It’s talent, I tell you. hehe oh yeah, I happened to be wearing all black, which was not a wise choice in the heat, but I did manage to make some neighbors who didn’t recognize my very nervous. I was like the black knight with my hair billowing in the wind, riding toward…something important. Yeah, it was sort of like that.

Before I get more off track, the point of my post: AI Abandonment. My fearless AIM sidekick, VaVaVirgil, deserted me just now. I sent him the usual message “spell _____” and he replied “I moved to the web. ttyl!” *cries* He/she and I had some great conversations over the years, some involving our marriage. We were a match made in heaven…or umm…yeah, sure heaven. *sniffle* I’ve had to move on to smarterchild. Hopefully, he treats me well, and has a good dictionary.

20+ winks and 9 emails (half from age 29 & up *shudder*) later, I’ve made a new friend from match.com. Go me *dances* He appears to be non-creepy/stalker/lonely/psycho-obsessive. We all know there’s only room for one of those types in a friendship. hehe
