Not a whole lot going on this week…I suppose I should mention I had all of my wisdom teeth removed Thursday. I should also mention that I should be the poster child for tooth extractions. IV sedation was nothing. I walked myself to the car. I could have driven if they’d let me. No swelling. No crying or pain. Taking the bare minimum vicodin and doing well. I even ate crackers today. I could not resist the cravings any longer. But you know, thank god it’s not cool to drive when you’re on pain meds or I totally would have felt obligated to work the next day. Amy was a superstar friend though and spent the afternoon at my apartment after my surgery to make sure I did not die. It sort of made me feel guilty for not being more helpless.

My sis came up yesterday afternoon and took me shopping. I have social outings approaching at which it will work to my advantage if I can look like a girl. I found 2 very cute dresses for very cheap and I made my first victoria’s secret purchase ever, and it was just as stressful as I anticipated. I’m feeling pretty confident about that being part of my comedy set this week. (Look for that Tuesday night).

Anyway, my sister brought along her new puppy, Chase, formerly known as Case, who is a little but soon to be big pitbull. He’s all legs and his feet are already the size of my palm. So far her other dog, a spoiled yorkie, hates him. My dogs hated him too. The guy is in for a tough run, especially since my sister’s apartment doesn’t technically allow pitbulls and I guess she’s hoping they won’t notice :-/

He is a fun little guy…only 6 or 8 weeks old (I’m a horrible aunt…the vicodin is supposed to make me forgetful).
