It’s sort of depressing that Tyler’s band bookings are pretty much the root of my entire social life. Thursday was the debut show for Training Wheel Fire at the Melody Inn. It was a stellar show. Good crowd showed up to support.

I feel like it’s been way too long since I’ve had a hilarious story to share and that depresses me too. Last night, I watched a recording of the Dalai Lama at Purdue from last weekend. He doesn’t speak til half way through, so just skip to that. It’s worth watching. It’s inspiring to know there are people like him in the world. My genius thought was based around the beautiful image that is created when I imagine what the world would be like if starting today, every baby born was raised as if they were the Dalai Lama. Sounds pretty nice to me.

Yesterday was supposed to be a vacation day for me but I worked for 12 hours instead. That was pretty awesome. I took the day off because I have vacation days to use and based on how yesterday went, I’m afraid to use them in any kind of bulk grouping. I want to find a new career. I don’t hate MediaSauce, but I just feel this pull like there is something else out there I’m meant to do or try. I just wish it would show itself to me.

Well, my power was off for 2.5 hours today and that wasn’t awesome. Without fail, an animal is the cause of every power outage that affects me. In Lafayette, it was squirrel vs transformer. Random.
