3rd row for Muse at BSU last night and I’m on cloud 9. I cannot fully express how completely amazing the show was. Rhythms were pounding, and it was impossible to stand still. I had a slight fear that lead vocals may not be as good live since his voice is so up there, but damn, it was even more powerful live. I was just in awe at how good they were live. This is the best pic I could find of the set. The “cheesegrater” behind him was his keyboard and the strips lit up with the notes. Whole set was simple & futuristic, lots of LCD strips. Reminded me a bit of something Orgy would have. (Seems they’re in Chicago May 25)

Unbelievable show. The set was missing some slower tracks, but it was still strong, pulling over half from Origin & Showbiz. Lead singer was a small little guy who seemed to bound around the stage. So, so happy I went and that the gang went with me.

Opening act was Razorlight, young band from UK. I swear it was a night for vocals, because their singer was also incredible. When they slowed things down a bit, you could really hear the quality of his voice. They have good audio clips on their site. Check out Golden Touch & To the Sea. In the City sounds so much like Gloria. They also put on a great show, 45-min full of crazy energy.

Aqualung concert is Tuesday night and my friend can’t go, so anyone near Indy up for a free show? heh
