Some of you may have caught my last update on the old site, which mentioned my lack of faith in the hosting/registrar world. Well, faith restored. The site appears to be live and with 3 hours left to spare before June 1. Go universe.

The consecutive weekends of not leaving my apartment and weeks I worked on the bus & during lunch were completely worth it. I’m kind of amazed I actually got it done in time. There are still minor kinks to be worked out & design things to finesse, but nothing so bad that it should impede using the site. However, if you do hit any major problems or have any feedback in the realm of different font sizes or whatever, please send me an email: thiscellardoor dot blog at gmail dot com.

Please do send feedback, though. I won’t necessarily act on it ;) but this was a completely blind launch, so you’re all the first to use it. I’m sure there are ways it could improve and make more sense. Working within this blogging engine did offer a few constraints, though. I’m still learning how to better customize it. I was hoping to have a mobile version up with this launch, but I’m not 100% sure how to go about it just yet. It’s definitely on the radar, though.

Anyway, I hope you like it. I’m quite pleased with how it turned out :) Farewell old homemade blogging system. You served me well all those years.
