*UPDATE: Sometime in Fall 2008, the man who let him fly intentionally crashed the plane and killed himself.*

Well, sort of. Yeah, the creative director at work went flying today to get some pilot photos and audio. Of course, I said I’d clear my schedule if he needed an assistant. Hah, but yeah, I just had this conversation:

me: did you go flying today?

CD: i did

me:  how was it?

CD: i landed the plane

me:  no shit?

CD: sort of

CD: i mean, there was a lot of help

CD: haha

CD: it was very cool

I mean, seriously, being a creative director is cool already, but how often is getting to fly part of the job?? haha I’m so jealous. Jealousy shall be my theme of the day…he got to play pilot, Johnny’s going to Vienna, the Brit is…well, British…but I suppose I shouldn’t complain since I’m going to Seattle next weekend. I will finally have a new stockade of photos after that. I’ve been glued to work this week and will likely be up to the point I board the plane. I keep forgetting I’m going to a wedding. I should probably buy a dress or something. blah, maybe I’ll find something vintage.

Well, that’s really all i had to say. Oh, no I lied…a friend recommends The Appleseed Cast, and i must concur that based on what I’ve heard, it does sound promising.

Oh, and bad news, i just heard the *earmuffs, Johnny!* new single from the upcoming MMJ album, and it made me want to cry. They were my official sit-on-the-porch-on-a-hot-summer-day-with-lemonade band, but it seems they’ve decided to speed up their sound on me. So sad…I actually would have gone right out and bought their album otherwise.

Now I’m done because it sounds like a fine summer storm is brewing.
