I had my second opera experience today. Sadly, I’m still sore from playing wii (3 days ago), which made it a little uncomfortable sitting still for 3 hours. (I can finally move my arm after playing more tennis & golf…haha, I hit pro status on golf) Anyway, I made a friend this time. The lady next to me invited me to join in their group discount. Sweet.

Anyway, La Boheme was really good and humorous. The four leading men were quite amusing. Despite all the comedy, it was still quite a tragic story. I didn’t cry but I came close :) I loved all the singers this round (no random girls playing guys).

I will say, I’d like to have a date next time. I mean, it was flattering having an older lady in the bathroom line tell me I looked nice, but it wasn’t exactly the attention I was hoping for. heh though the door check guy at Circuit City was nicer to me than anyone else that came in around me.

I think I’d like to do a symphony engagement next. I love opera, but I haven’t been to a real symphony concert either. Gotta share the love.

My new TV is great so far, too. Despite my wii injuries, it’s great to be able to play again. I’m thinking Wii Music will be my next game buy. I’m looking forward to the couch. I’ve dissembled the futon. I’m nervous about dumping it on the street hah.

Oh, and I put up my Christmas tree. I really considered a real one, but I’ll get my xmas tree smell fix when I’m home. I found the magenta lights so decided to have some fun with the glass closet doors. And it doubles as a year-round cool light. Makes it in to a dorm room heh. Maybe I can have some people over next weekend once I have my sofa.

I’m totally rambling. I spent 2 days in bed because I couldn’t move. Oh, I was supposed to sub for skee ball tonight, but it turns out it wasn’t a match. Darn.
