I have my first real web-related job interview this Thursday at MediasSauce in Fishers. I haven’t been in that town for at least 10 years I think. hah I don’t get out much. I’m not really nervous, but that’s because I’ve stopped fearing people with job titles. Proof of this…got a call from the art

technical director there today. Conversation excerpt follows:

him: “blah blah…heard great things…blah blah…may have the president, Justin, and some other people in our meeting, but don’t let it feel like a firing squad.”

me: “oh, it’s cool…bring it on” *nervous chuckle after noting my candidness*

him: haha i like that attitude

me: *phew* *wipes sweat from brow*

I fear I may be the most exciting interview of their lives. I seem to have lost my sugar-coating skills. My goal for the interview is to leave them dumbfounded yet intrigued. haha

ooh I just had a thought…I think they have a really big Joann Fabrics in Fishers, so maybe I can find really cool yarn there and start knitting up a storm. If anyone has color preferences, lemme know.

*notes all the cute families walking by window*

I’ve been running like I promised myself and doing my 20 crunches. Old lady hobbling by at 10pm inspired me to go out then too. The world is probably not quite ready for my white legs anyway.

*notes man on bike with a kid cart and dog holster off back wheel going by again…*

My friend’s getting a call from Big Spaceship tomorrow. Good luck to him. Talented bastard, that one. It’s funny, though. It seems the guy I’m meeting with at Mediasauce turns out to be chummy with the founder of Big Spaceship. Small world, eh? Really, I have a theory that stripping all the Purdue ppl from both these companies might form an even greater venture. Too many multimedia firms are starting up, though…way too many, so gotta find new target market. That’s the other half of my theory anyway.
