I Stand Corrected

Well, today went amazingly well. It’s safe to say there was no yelling of any sort. Since we had to drop mom’s car at the dealership on the way, Jenna & I drove separately for the first half. We played the “let’s see how many nice people there are” game, which involves waving at every single person we see, pedestrian or driver. We had one man just stare at us, but a lovely semi driver stuck his arm all the way out the window to wave back. It’s possible he was just littering, though. Hard to say.
I flipped on my wireless as we hit Brownsburg, because I thought it’d be cool to be on the Internet on the interstate. Haha I’m too cool. I had full bars for one unsecured signal but we were out of range before I was connected. Darn. I tell ya, some people have some interesting network names.
We ate at Bob Evans. Mmm. At the airport, Jenna made a big dramatic “OMG I’m going to miss you, mom” scene. It was cool until she pulled me into it, picked me up and said “look I can flip her around like a rag doll” *sigh* We went to a gift shop to see how our home state was being represented. It was a bit lacking. The PGA tour store across the hall was awesome, though! I think I’d like to go golfing again.
Jenna & I went to Rockville earlier tonight, washed my car and got ice cream. Hand-dipped strawberry cheesecake in a waffle cone. Mmm.
This week is flying by and I haven’t done half of what I’d planned, but tomorrow is supposed to be warm & sunny, so I’ve made a date with the 4-wheeler and my camera. Scenery is pretty drab around here, though, so I’ll have to get creative with my locations. Not sure if it’s safe to go to Judson by 4-wheeler but that could be fun.
I definitely have to capture red bud season this year. Hopefully, that will be in the coming weeks. I told dad that I want to go fishing. He sort of ignored me. I recall it being very relaxing, and I have a pond walking distance from my house. I just need a person on standby to bait the hook and later remove the fish from the hook. Well, a person to handle pretty much every part except for casting & reeling. Haha. Weak, I know.
No one is commenting about my sign-off lines. I need opinions. Everything I think of sounds cheesy. It’s probably something that just needs to come to me naturally.
