I went shopping at Target & Best Buy. The goal of the trip was to get basic groceries and all the stuff I needed to make pies for Thanksgiving. umm well, I sort of made some extended purchases. I bought My Morning Jacket’s It Still Moves and Keane’s Hope & Fears. I also got the Live Aid DVDs (for only $20!!). Plus, Target’s dollar bin made me happy. I got “The Stranger” with Orson Welles and “The Last Man on Earth” for only $1 each.
I also stopped and rented a Paul Newman movie, The Hustler, at Blockbuster. umm yes, this was before I bought all the other movies that I could have watched, but hey, the rental was free, so no worries. I just had such a good time. Great songs on the radio, great CD on the way home—it was just me and the road. I was a cruisin’ girl. Fun times. My friend just got 16th in a poker game of 800. Hey, you know me, Ms. Random.
Quotes of the day:
R or M: “When I merged the documents, it wouldn’t let me move the text up.”
J: “Ron’s getting out his MS Word manual.”
E: “Mindy, what are you shaking your head at this time? huh? huh?”
Johnny rambling about something…no one really knew what he was saying but I recall the moment being noteworthy because of that
oh yeah, Kellen tried to insult me today…poor kid, he tries and tries
I almost forgot…
J: “he means natural redheads”
M: “yeah, I’m just a redhead poser”
