Well, I heard a fire truck siren today, sounded like it was just driving down McCormick like usual. Then, I heard a really loud engine and the beep-beep back up sound. I thought it was really odd for the trash to be picked up on a Sunday, so I looked out my front window to discover a massive fire truck, literally, right there. I went out on my back porch and saw they were shooting water into our dumpster.

Then, suddenly everything became clear. Right when I started boiling water for my mac & cheese, I smelled something burning, so I thought I had managed to start a fire boiling water, but fortunately, I wasn’t that dumb. The burning smelled like charcoal, so naturally, I just thought one of the neighbors were grilling. Well, my theory is that people HAD been grilling, but then dumped their charcoals, still a bit warm, into the dumpster (like idiots). Are people just stupid or what? Hello, dumpsters contain some very flammable things. Sheesh, so now I’m concerned about my well-being, knowing that such incompetent people live within my vicinity.

As a side note, I’ve decided to start doing crossword puzzles every week. You may laugh, but I tell you, it’s going to be quite a task, but I should increase my vocab and learn something about worldly news.
