I Cannot Express My Anger

Kerry: 252
Bush: 254
Ohio, Iowa, and NM are all just barely swinging Bush right now. Well, America, I hope you’re happy. All you idiots who voted for your little libertarian and independent candidates may have just signed our death certificate as a country. You know that all of your votes combined, at least in NM, would have given Kerry enough to not only tie with Bush but beat him? Curse this system. All states should be able to split their EV’s because Kerry had at least 40% of the popular vote in most states and sometimes just under half, yet Bush gets all their votes.
I’m still just in shock that so many people in this twisted little country think Bush is a competent president. All I can imagine is that they don’t want to switch presidents during war or they thought Kerry was too intelligent for them. Bush does speak the language of the people. Well, that’s nice, just go have a beer with him, no need to make him president.
<- apparently, those stats changed after I went to bed. Have I mentioned I’m in shock? Seriously, didn’t people watch the debates? Bush was a stammering idiot who avoided answering nearly every question and didn’t even know better to stand up straight…his wife had to clear him up about that for the following 2 debates.
If Bush gets Ohio, I just don’t know how I’m going to handle it. I found the reports of Kerry votes being shown as Bush votes on the confirmation page in Florida very interesting. I wonder how many people were too lazy to review their ballot.
And in case you just pass me off as a mad libby, I voted for several republicans, including Daniels for governor. I don’t believe in holding tight to party lines. One thing I can be happy about is that I’ll never have to see Connie Basham’s “Joe Micon. You’re Shameless” commercial ever again. I am happy she lost, though, I don’t think it will make a huge difference.
Well, I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
P.S. Can you believe all the bans on gay marriage? What are people afraid of?
