Happy Easter!

I don’t really celebrate it. I just eat food, but it seemed like the polite thing to say. My mom made a standing rib roast, twice-baked potatoes, and dream cake. I ate way too much. We spent the afternoon watching the World Pizza Championship on the food channel. It was like break-dancing but with pizza dough. Needless to say, we got pizza for dinner.
I also learned to knit. I had a lovely start on a scarf but I forgot it and all my supplies at home. Grr. Otherwise, I would have had a photo of my awesome 4” scarf. I intend to make scarves for everyone. Consider yourselves warned.
After all that time spent at eharmony.com, they only found me 5 possible
err make that country-wide matches. See…it’s not that I’m picky, it’s just that my perfect partner is a rare breed.
My mom made friends with this lady from Florida while on her Europe trip. We may be going down there this winter. Exciting stuff. I’ve never been anywhere near Florida. We might be visiting cousins in Seattle sometime this summer, too. Very exciting.
Well, my new roommate arrives sometime after 6 tomorrow. I’m a bit nervous, and you can likely expect a full initial reaction post tomorrow.
Oh, apparently a plane crashed less than a 1/4 mile behind my house early yesterday morning, and I slept through it.
