Hangin’ in There

My apologies for the previous “angry” post. I think everyone’s had those days. For the record, my frustration with that one kid was not an isolated event. He annoyed Johnny pretty soon after. I found out tonight that Ron was a big liar about going live tomorrow, so I uploaded my header a little too soon. I hope to be done Friday, though. I’m ready for it to be over. At least tonight I know that I can go to bed at a decent hour. I did make time to make some orange roughie today, which was very tasty.
I’m sitting in the living room so I can sit in the big comfy chair, but Snippy decided she needed to be up here with me. It’s a little cozy. She feels so neglected, though. I mean when I sat in here, she hopped up and just fell in to me with her head up under my neck. Poor thing.
Ooh yeah, I nearly forgot why I was posting. Apparently, a couple was found dead in their home. I recognized the address, because there was a house for sale on the same street. In fact, I’m pretty sure it was one I drove by to check out, so it could have been my neighbors dead now. I also recognized the name of the guy who found them, but I’m not sure how. Here’s the story. This quote scares me, though: “‘They had strong odor of carbon monoxide,’ said Sheriff’s Lt. Steve Kohne…” I guess I thought carbon monoxide was odorless. Am I wrong?
Ooh “Are you being served?” is on. I haven’t seen it forever. This makes me happy. In music news, I listened to the new Scissor Sisters album. I had mixed feelings, but “Return of Oz” was very nice. It reminded me of King Crimson and the mix of vocals made me think of KMFDM, though they’re completely different. I also got these 2 Xmas albums, and one had “Pilate - Fairytale in New York,” which I believe I’ve mentioned before. I need a blog search… I could never find an album it was on. The Tom McRae song is lovely, too. It has some great songs. I definitely recommend checking it out.
UPDATE: They just showed footage of the house where those people were found dead. Yeah, I did drive there and looked at the house across the street. Weird.
