Halloween Countdown

Well, I’ve been running outside to watch the eclipse. Pretty damn cool. Blood moon. Very appropriate for the approaching holiday. I really love Halloween, always have. I miss going to the neighbor’s to explore the barn set up as a haunted scene. I also miss my dad dressing up and making my little brother cry. hahaha, he was such a wuss. But in his defense, dad did put on the mask that I’m wearing in one of the pictures and put a huge log chain around his neck.
ooh Halloween story from when I was little. Our neighbor/babysitter girl dressed up as a gorilla. It scared my best friend and I so much that we locked ourselves in my bedroom. hahah it was a very realistic costume, of course :)
Here are some photos for your entertainment and my embarrassment:
These are scanned from my scrapbook that I had to take apart. Hopefully, I get it back together or my mom will cry. In the third photo, we were Misfits, if you couldn’t tell. They were like hardcore rocker Barbie-type dolls. Fun fact, I still have that black sweatshirt, and it fits great now. Also, my left sock is silver glitter. I wish I knew what happened to those :( I think my blonde poofy hair was a nice touch for the Dracula. Hah, too bad I didn’t have my black hair back then.
So yeah, a friend’s away message about a Halloween party made me realize that not only had I never been to a Halloween party (not since elementary, at least that I can remember), but I’ve also never been to a “college” party. Man, am I a loser or what? hehe so just in case I decide to do something for Halloween, I’m getting a costume together and maybe changing my hair color, with Angel’s permission, of course.
