Props to the internet. It somehow yields some amazing adventures at times. After getting several requests to follow me on Twitter, I finally logged in to see who these people were. I was annoyed because I haven’t used Twitter since the day I setup my account and I was annoyed that strangers didn’t take time to note that before choosing to follow me. Anyway, I checked out Rachel’s page, noticed a guy’s face I met in Austin, went to his page, and came across another guy I’d met there. So, the latter guy’s latest twitter was something about his story airing on CNN. Obviously, this statement was enticing. I follow the link to discover this video.

Check out his blog here

Yeah, I hung out with this guy & his co-workers most of the week at Austin. They were definitely some of my favorite folks. These were the guys I had “meat night” with at Stubb’s. How crazy to randomly be going along and find this story on CNN. Of course, it’s safe to say that I will exaggerate the level of our friendship in order to sound cool. heh j/k. He was definitely the most interesting person I met and he managed to take it to another level. We all know I heart researchers. I mean it is my Kolbe MO.

Also, just a side note that I heard from AKQA. I’m told “any day now.” I’m getting excited but so nervous! And lastly, my hair is changing colors tomorrow afternoon. Not sure what yet, but it’ll be awesome. I mean this guy has done Marilyn Manson & Larry Bird’s hair. I can’t go wrong if I land somewhere in the middle.

Oh and I watched American Idol for the first time in years (b/c my mom dvr’s every reality show on air), and well, Jason Castro did this amazingly intimate performance of Somewhere Over the Rainbow. There’s just something a little strange/interesting about him that I find quite fascinating.
