Just finished work meeting #2, and I’m in too good of a mood not to write about it this very moment. Now the pres wasn’t as enthusiastic about my move as last time, but it seemed he’d spoken with others about it in the meantime. However, photo guy was all game, and to me, that’s all I care about. He said there are immediate things I can start helping with, which is exactly what I hoped to hear.

We’re going to meet up next week, closer to home so I won’t have to drive all the way to Fishers, and he’s gonna pick my brain about everything I want to do. At first I was a bit apprehensive about teaming up with him, because he didn’t seem to want a sidekick. Those concerns are now gone. He seemed genuinely excited about being my guide, which naturally makes me more excited.

It’s looking like I’ll get to try my hand at some scripts. I’m beyond thrilled. However, this is all on my own time, so it’s like an internship on the side to see if I’m any good and if I truly do enjoy doing it. I like that approach. I’m anxious to see the reaction to my work. I’m more excited to work with Mr. Creative Guy. I can already tell we’re gonna get along very well.

And apparently he & I were the first to give the pres a return thumbs up. haha yeah, good times are definitely on the way.
