My one minute bitch rant: “so many dumb bitches to hate, so little time” hehe ok I’m done.

Now, on to more exciting things. The first official Canada goose family arrived at Blackbird today, a whopping 5-gosling pack! Somebody’s been busy. Yes, I know that was SO wrong. I was up at 8 am taking pictures of the new family and later in the day, they were all taking a swim in a lovely line so, of course, I was trailing all the edges of the pond trying to get the close enough for photos. It made my day!! They are so damn adorable.
Fun fact: My sophomore year in HS I made a video about the Canada goose. It was my first experience in film editing, using an 8mm camcorder and a VCR. It was damn tedious work. Wow, that just made me think of Ronnie La Rue. Strange how those random things pop in to your head.
I was a good Samaritan today. Two little boys were on roller blades on the very edge of the pond on muddy grass. I told them they might want to back off a little because they could fall in, and then, I asked if they’d seen the baby geese. They were really nice kids. They just said, “ok”. It was reassuring to see some non-brat kids in the world. There’s hope yet.
See, I’m becoming more social, slowly, but surely. I’m not sure I want to be quite as social as my friend, though. He takes socializing to a WHOLE new level. BTW, my bowling team has really been doing better. We’ve won our last 3 matches!
This is a temp pic of the happy family. I should have better ones to post when I get my film back. They’ll get their own new post :)
PS I just saw a man with a 12-foot pole. I believe he was fishing, but it seems like that would be hard to manage…eh?
