Well, I believe I just witnessed the mating ritual of the Canada goose, and now, I’m scarred for life. Stop reading now if you don’t want details, but seriously, you know you’re curious. Basically, the male hops on the back of the female while in the water, in essence drowning the female. Then, he literally mimics a cowboy bull-riding, holding one wing out and somehow using the other wing to “hold on”. It actually seems a bit complicated and lasted only a few seconds. Ugh, just too disturbing.

The goslings are growing up so fast! Their wings are really starting to grow and they’ve gotten so tall. It’s unbelievable.
