UPDATE So I’m officially rock climbing at a place near work next week. Not really a good activity for weaklings like myself but what can I say, making an ass of myself is my specialty :) haha I’m so gonna die.

My sister came up yesterday, mainly so I could clean her computer inside & out. Ended up it wasn’t as bad as she’d said, so no reformatting happiness. I used my best friend RegSupreme Pro, and it got rid of a lot of shit. Also broke out some AdAware action, too. heh, most the time was spent fixing her music library which was a total mess due to severe lack of tagging along the way. I got a shitload of old school blues from her though which rocks. (IU has cool classes like History of the Blues which was her hook up).

But yeah, we had Rachel over last night for food. We broke out our mad 4-H skills and made herb-crusted pot roast & potatoes, corn (from the farm), and apple-sour cream streusel coffee cake (pictured w/ Ralph). We had a lovely evening. Jenna brought Briece up so Snippy had fun as well. I only wish it had been warmer last night so we could have eaten on the porch. oh, random good news: Rachel is staying around for the summer…might be my new roomie. We’re gonna have good times.

We bought mom a mother’s day gift today, and I was eying some patio furniture that I can’t afford. I would enjoy building my own. I think I could handle building a small bar and buying some stools. Maybe I’ve seen a few too many episodes of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, eh?

Well, my random friend that re-surfaced is coming up tomorrow, and I’m not too excited. He’s been emailing me daily and got kinda shitty in this morning’s because I didn’t reply to yesterday’s. I do not need more drama in my life, so this may not last long. Last time he appeared, there was major fun fight with my b/f at the time. For my sanity’s sake, wish me luck.

btw, my covered bridge story ran solo on the front page today. I’m hoping it helps some way.
