Well, I just had two strawberry daiquiri wine coolers, my new favorite thing to drink. I got lots of work done tonight. It’s the first productive Friday night I’ve had in awhile. Maybe drinking is my secret productivity weapon. Well, it’s not but I think part of it was chatting with a teammate tonight. If I talk about work, I tend to do work. I feel this obligation to help out the team, you know? It was a lovely conversation, though. Too bad it had to end so soon. I also got a job offer from our latest client. Maybe I bought the house too soon. I just hate to move again so soon. My best friend lives in Louisville now, so I’d actually get to see her more than a few times a year if I worked down there. eh, too much to think about for tonight.

My sister got to meet the team today, which was cool. She finally has faces to go with names. She totally understood our backpack boy drama after 2 seconds of talking to him. Today was our first meeting with the entire team. One girl lives in Ohio, so she usually dials in. Nothing really changed having her there in person. Johnny dressed up today. I didn’t think he would. I was going to, but I was working my ass off all morning and barely had time to eat. I must admit he looked sharp, pink shirt and all. The kid’s got style. Jenna didn’t really get a good chance to sample he & Evan’s sense of humor. They’re fun guys, and I’m getting all sentimental thinking about the project ending soon.

Well, I’ve been wanting to go to bed since about 7:30 this morning, so I’ll cut this short, and leave you with quotes of the day.

Boss 1: “What’s up there? Hyenas?”
Boss 2: “No, it’s the daycare”
Boss 1: “Seriously, that’s what it is???”

J: “If they want that smiley, they’ll have to hire someone else to do it. I’ll quit.”

ooh but I just copied a file on to my computer, and it was edited exactly 5 days and 1 sec before my version. Kind of funny.
