Well, I just got a call from another happy freelance client. These people are the nicest people I will probably ever get to work with. I gave them 2 designs, and they just picked one with no suggestions for improvement. How lucky is that?

So my last happy client launched her placeholder page yesterday. Now I’ll warn you. She’s an interesting woman, but she loved the temp page. *sigh* It was a challenge to create something I thought she would like. I really had to set my own tastes aside. emagikland.com It will eventually be an entire e-magazine, which I’ll also be creating.

Last night I was up late bidding on e-bay for software. I missed visual studio .net by $2.50. The guy bid with 15 sec left. Grr. He got it for $142.50. What a steal! And PS 7 went outside my range, but I have watches on some other auctions. After I get those purchased, Macromedia Studio MX 2004 is next on the list. OH! and can you believe people are actually selling CDR’s of software with serial numbers?!? But they specifically say (to cover their ass), this should be used only as a backup CD to an existing version. umm hello, if a person had their own legal copy, they could buy a CD burner for cheaper than that CD-R is going for and why would they need their own serial #?!? So stupid. I pray people aren’t dumb enough to buy those. I sincerely doubt that’s considered any more legal than downloading from Kazaa. Sheesh
