Well, I officially just got the most random email in my life. I saw this email in my inbox with the subject: “My Ex Girlfriend Mindy”. I didn’t recognize the sender, so of course, I was curious as hell to see what the email was about. I even considered it could be some new clever junk mail scheme. Well, I decided to brave the risk and open it. It was from this guy, Jason, who said he was doing a yahoo search for his ex girlfriend, Mindy Marie G*****, and he happened across my site. He’d realized I wasn’t his ex when he saw my last name, but after looking through my photography, he decided to send me an email asking if I took photographs for a magazine.

I thought that was really cool, but here’s the part that worries me. I’ve tried all different combination of searches, and I can’t seem to ever find my site in yahoo results. So either he searched for just the right combination of words or…well, I’d rather not think about the alternatives :)

But anyway, right before the random email, I met with a new client, and he gave me a tour of his factory. It was really cool. It’s a metal forming business, and they make these widgets for semi-conductors. The process was really neat, especially the brazing (sp?). When I get the site done, I’ll post a link so you can see the process.
