I had a good time last night. I was a little tired and out of it at first, but food helped that out. Rachel, Justin, & I ate at Scotty’s but were there way too long. Insane wait time. The food was really good, though. We watched my hilarious home videos. I think they were well received. We spent most the rest of the night at Wingers. It was cool there—no big crowds. I had so many new drinks, and I really liked them all. I had capt & sprite, some gin & tonic variation, liquid cocaine, amaretto sour, and another shot that was goldschlogger or something. Amaretto sour was definitely the best tasting. I’m thinking that’s what Mark & Johnny suggested on our project celebration night. It was like kool-aid.
Ryan & Craig joined up with us later at Wingers, which was all good. My project team boys showed up with a crew later, which made my night. I hadn’t seen them in about 2 months. I was pretty well gone by the time they arrived. hehe Johnny wouldn’t sing me a song, but Evan gave me a lovely rendition of Happy Birthday. I love how everyone is nicer when they’re drunk. Evan played therapist with me. Drunken counseling is really effective. There’s so much honesty hehe.
Hanging out with Rachel is causing me to re-think views about having female friends. Maybe the paranoia is just in my head, and that it is possible to have girl friends. I’m going to have to hang out with her again. Always trying to have guy friends gets complicated.
We went back to Evan’s place, and I experienced my first beer pong tournament. I think I can see how it’d be exciting it you’re playing. I’d just want to play with something other than beer. Yuck. Justin got me the new special edition release of The Downward Spiral, which is exciting. I’m looking forward to giving that a listen. I also got 20gb of other items that I must force myself to save for a rainy day.
So yeah, cool night overall, and fortunately, I’m feeling just fine today. Oh, and I should mention, I think Angel gave me the best haircut of my life. It was exactly what i wanted. My hair was SO long. I feel so liberated.
