Sunday night, a friend from work, Tyler, played in a battle of the bands. I stayed out way too late to help get him a win by cheering as loudly as possible, but our plans were spoiled by a terrible HS band that brought all their parents. He scored a close second, though, and his show went well and landed him a spot opening for another band. Good stuff.

Mainly, I’m just excited to have new pictures to show for the first time since June. My poor camera has been neglected.

Life is stressful right now. My new role at work is slowly breaking down my sanity, but somehow, that aside, I’m feeling good about it. A family crisis arose today and it’s really more than my brain has room to deal with right now. I want to go on vacation, but I’m pretty sure life as we know it would cease at work if I were to leave anytime soon, so I’m not sure what I’m gonna do.
