Update: So, the emcee gig is happening even sooner. Looks like I’ll have my first try this Sunday. Sunday’s are unpaid but it’ll be a great chance to practice before my official gig that is booked for late august. Sweetness.

So, I got multiple applause breaks. It was sooo fricken great, especially considering all but one bit was new material, half of which was written an hour before showtime.

I had nooo expectation that it would go over that well, and yes, the sex analogy was awkward with my mom sitting in the front, but it totally killed.

The host pulled me aside afterwards and said he & the owner agreed I was ready to emcee, so I will start that in September.
