My blockbuster man forgot to unlock my DVD. I realized this when I umm tried to open the case once home. I called and he told me to rip it open. Ok…no problem…oh, oh, oh not so fast. Well, Blockbuster case manufacturers could have a side venture in child-proofing med bottles. After failed attempts with the pliers, I resorted to a coping saw. That, combined with some major pulling, finally gave me a glimpse of the inside. Man, the funny part was that this was a free rental. It felt really free 15 minutes later.

Earlier that morning, I left my house at 6:30am for work. Come on, that’s hardcore. I’m carpooling with Amy now, and she told me to just let myself in and go to the backyard to meet her new puppy, Mylo. Well, he was quite the ball of energy, jumping all over me. Of course, after I had him calmed down a bit, Adam comes out and says “oh, watch it…sometimes he has happy pee as he jumps.” so phew…that i didn’t catch any of that.

Work was a pleasure as always, despite finding out I have to do a .NET project and everyone saying “blame mindy” for every mishap hehe. Mike is my best friend in the corner. He says he enjoys days when I come in, even though he has a bad connection with the name “mindy.” He gives me recommended listenings for the day based on bands I’m currently in to. I finally figured out who he reminds me of…my old pal, steeb. He’s gonna be meeting with the rach monday…she might be doing some work for us…woo! ooh yeah, i saw Wedding Crashers w/ rach & ben. It was hilarious! I was totally in the mood for it after playing Crash this Trailer. Fun times and very cool flash app. “Stage 5 clinger..” kills me every time.

Speaking of work, there seems to be a good chance that I shall be getting to do lots more creative work. Specifically taking over production of one of our products from writing the script/concept to taking/picking the photos to pulling it all together. Seems my creative mentor spoke with the pres, and the pres relayed, “apparently she’s doing really well.” Heh, ye of little faith. I’m really hoping it goes through. ah, i look forward to days when i can worry about finding the right spot to photograph or which word to use rather than making a site work in IE or what site structure makes the most sense.

As a side note, the new Sigur Ros album is superb. Rach & I are gonna see them in Chicago. Oh, and MMJ is coming to Indy! I kindly requested them to awhile back hehe.
