After a morning in Spokane, I hit the road for Whitefish, MT, exploring the Cabinet Mountains along the way.

Day 2 of my road trip took me from Bend to Spokane.

The first day of my 3800-mile road trip. San Francisco to Bend, OR via Crater Lake.

I mixed up Christmas this year by heading to Las Vegas via Death Valley for a Very Vegas Christmas.

I planned a surprise trip back to Indy for Amy & Alex’s 30th birthday bash. I got to meet the new baby arrivals, too, and celebrate Kyle’s 21st birthday. It was a non-stop celebration.

Last minute weekend trip to LA to hang out with Cerra for her birthday weekend.

Last day in Manhattan was spent biking around Central Park.

Third day in NY was a walking adventure starting from East Village, angling up to Lincoln Center, and then ending with a trip to the NW corner of Central Park.

Second day in Manhattan with visits to Chinatown, Little Italy, Downtown, & Greenwich Village. The evening closed with the Andrew Bird concert at the Guggenheim.

First day in New York with visits to: Katharine Hepburn Place, UN, Chrysler Building, Grand Central, St. Bart’s, St. Patrick’s, Rockafellar, Top of the Rock, & Grand Army Plaza. Saw Matthew for the first time in years and finally met his fiancée, Christina.

A mid-November camping trip in the Redwoods, my first movie date with Ryan, and another wonderful Thanksgiving at Haight & Ashbury.

My second visit to Indiana since my move unleashed some emotional fireworks, sparked by reunions with the oldest & dearest of friends to encounters with perfect strangers.

A last minute decision put me on a flight to LA for the 2nd to last NIN show at the Henry Fonda. It was a night I’ll never forget.

Our little time in LA was split between Hollywood & Santa Monica before hitting the 5 back north to SF.
