Tidbits from the fun in SF this July: horseback riding, fairs, movies & concerts
Bright Eyes show at the Fox Theater Oakland.
Sort of a downer birthday, but it was surrounded by some incredible experiences: Bill Cosby & Mozart’s Requiem.
A night at the symphony, a date with bluegrass, and some good times with friends.
My first Clientele concert at The Independent, concluded by a strange evening in my own neighborhood.
My quest to acquire the single copy of the fan-produced NIN DVD hidden in San Francisco.
Third day in NY was a walking adventure starting from East Village, angling up to Lincoln Center, and then ending with a trip to the NW corner of Central Park.
Second day in Manhattan with visits to Chinatown, Little Italy, Downtown, & Greenwich Village. The evening closed with the Andrew Bird concert at the Guggenheim.
My first video project launched and I embarked on my semi-annual shopping spree.
My first Tool show! Lights, lasers, and a 20-minute opening jam.
Unplanned trip down to Mountain View for my first Warped Tour.
Trip over to Oakland to see The National at Fox Theater.
My second visit to Indiana since my move unleashed some emotional fireworks, sparked by reunions with the oldest & dearest of friends to encounters with perfect strangers.
A last minute decision put me on a flight to LA for the 2nd to last NIN show at the Henry Fonda. It was a night I’ll never forget.
