Pretty Perfect Weekend

Great weekend with a trip to Muir Beach for Kali’s birthday and a Home Depot rendezvous with Jeremiah.

#1 Fan

My quest to acquire the single copy of the fan-produced NIN DVD hidden in San Francisco.

Magic in the Music

Details of a glorious night at the symphony for “my classic Tchaikovsky”. Also, Tyler’s upcoming trip to the Ukraine, photos from The Presidio, and my reaction to Kerouac’s On the Road.

Old Friends in New Places

Some free comedy club tickets took me on a trip back to my roots while exploring all new places.

So we tried to join a cult…

Even if the cult did turn out to be nothing but a big game, I still walked away with a great story. And we didn’t let it ruin our day, closing out things with a drink on the 52nd floor and some family style chinese dining.

The Kindness of Strangers

Got my iPhone from a Kentucky boy, piled 15+ people in a van, and finally got a real mattress to rest upon.

Opera in the Park—Sweet Sounds

An afternoon in Golden Gate Park brought more than a first glimpse at live opera. I encounter interesting people in the most unlikely of places.

Pay it Forward

Through a series of events and reading The Art of Happiness, my world has been turned upside-down in an amazing way. I’m enjoying the new perspective.

The Smiling Lady

A condensed tale of obvious happiness alongside a news report about the hippies of SF, which we watched from the very street where it was filmed.

It all started with a monkey

Eavesdropping on the 30-Stockton and my first spin with SF tech company parties and open bars.

Back to My Roots

A work day out in the field, so to speak, took me up to Reynold’s Farm Equipment in Fishers, where they were celebrating 50 years in business. Later in the day brought along a trip to Conseco Fieldhouse to photograph some handicapped basketball, an incredible experience.

Artists, Big Houses, and Wise Old Men

The ‘sauce is following up on its promise to bring an artist in every month. We spent some time with Chris Sickels of Red Nose Studio. I spent my afternoon taking photos of the Wish Home without actually giving away what it looks like and then had an old man reach out to me in Marsh.

Sarasota: The Exploration

I couldn’t have asked for a more amazing close to my Florida trip. I spent the day exploring local wildlife and stalking local’s with my zoom lens. It was a great, inspiring adventure.

Day 4 - Downtown Seattle

A jam-packed day of sight-seeing got started off on the right foot with an entertaining shuttle driver who managed to embarrass her father. We also walked around underground and explored the city by sea.

Going Postal, Literally

Who knew that something as simple as cleaning off my bookshelves would result in a traumatic experience at the Post Office?
