This Cellar Door

A mid-November camping trip in the Redwoods, my first movie date with Ryan, and another wonderful Thanksgiving at Haight & Ashbury.

My monthly trip to Spindig just wouldn’t be complete without some amusing stories, odd encounters, and bad decisions. Sunday left me with time for one of my favorite lazy day routines, listening to old vinyls on a sunny day.

I bid farewell to an expensive, old friend that I spilled water all over and ruined. First time in my history where I couldn’t say “it’s okay. it’s just water.”

Loudest instrumental rock concert ever. Results of attempts to spice up my pallet. Tyler almost goes & dies on me.

Figuring out how to take care of all of me, with a little help from Google and Emerson.

My revitalized interest in the Doves isn’t doing much to compensate for my nervous baking. Final days before Amsterdam and work is on the upswing.

An afternoon of live music and local street vendors on Fillmore street, wrapped up with a night of a weird movie and new food.

Experiencing SF one step at a time, from new flavors to new experiences. Learning to live with close to nothing as I wait for my movers to arrive. Oh, and I met a guy who had wanted to meet me years ago.

My first non-Crackers comedy gig. It was out in the middle of nowhere and pretty awkward, but a good (paying) experience.

It was the toughest cooking/baking adventure I’d ever undertaken, but I conquered the cannoli and apparently made a good show of it. Karma repaid my efforts with an access code to a multi-million dollar home to take photos of to my little heart’s content.

Christmas Eve is drama as usual but Christmas day pulled through FTW. I undertook a crazy baking adventure to compensate, though.

Gearing up for Midwest Music Summit but first I had to bake some pies and make some snicker doodles for the company pitch-in.

Had a great visit with my sister and her dog, even if she was there to have me clean her computer. Rachel joined in some of the fun and we had a great girl’s night!

I finally attempted pretzels, and they were a success. Also, I’ve added a new feature to the site to instantly update with whatever song I’m currently listening to.
